2nd Annual African Americans in Health Care Awards presented by Kaiser Permanente and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum

At this Black History Month annual event, honorees will be recognized for their tireless
efforts to alleviate community burdens caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Join the honorees as they are shown gratitude for their service and learn about their important contributions to health care, including community– wide pandemic responses and the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. This event will also feature a conversation between Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett, lead scientist in the development of the Moderna vaccine, and Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, President of University of Maryland Baltimore County.
